What will you do?

  • Work with artists and engineers to create and implement 3D art and technical solutions

  • Support artists and engineers in the use of the 3D art pipeline and tool-chains

  • Provide hands-on support to artists and engineers in regard to asset performance and validation

  • Review the creative process and identify opportunities for tool improvements and automatizations

  • Develop 3D art pipeline tools and workflows with an eye towards usability and efficiency

  • Solve challenging technical issues in the 3D asset pipeline

  • Collaborate with engineers and testers to diagnose and resolve in-game problems

  • Inspire and empower the art team to optimize their assets and processes

  • Collaborate with partner studios to share technology, workflows, and best practices


What will you need?

  • 5+ years' experience as Technical Artist in 3D content pipelines for the games industry

  • 3+ years of experience working on mobile games for Android and/or iOS

  • Very strong Unity experience

  • Professional experience as a tools programmer

  • Experience with shader development in game engines

  • Ability to work with and create technical documentation

  • Proficient in Autodesk Maya, 3DS Max, Photoshop, Substance, etc

  • Good bilingual knowledge (English/Spanish)

  • Good artistic skills (proportion, color, composition)

  • Passion for video-games and extensive knowledge of different game genres

  • Self-motivated and proactive

  • Positive attitude and a genuine team player

  • A great ability to think creatively to overcome technical challenges


What makes you a rock-star?

  • Experienced developing custom tools for DCC software (Maya or other similar software)

  • Knowledge of high-level coding language. (Python, MaxScript, Perl, C#, etc.)

  • Experience creating assets (high/low-poly modeling, unwrapping, baking, texturing, level building)

  • Professional experience with diverse game editors and engines
